Instuctions for DIY Hitachi Modifications
Below are examples of the installation instuctions for Hitachi DIY upgrades. These refer to a DIY service disc.
Full upgrade instructions are included with each upgrade supplied by us. You will only be sent the correct firmware disc for the model you select, so please ensure you order the correct one!
Please be aware that you perform a DIY modification at your own risk!
On no account do we accept any responsbility whatsoever for any damage caused when performing a modification yourself. If in doubt, use our fitted modification service.

Service Disc based upgrades
1. Unplug the unit from the mains, then plug back in 2. Switch on, then open the Drawer. Insert the mod disc. 3. Close the drawr. The unit will now read the disc. 4. When finished, the player will eject the disc and switch into standby mode. 5. Remove the disc, Switch the machine back on. 6. Plug the machine back in. Installation is complete. 7. The upgrade is complete. ENJOY!
